Inputs/Outputs

  • cstr.png Selector String

Selector String specifies a Selector String comprising of the signal name. You do not need to use a selector string, if you want to configure this parameter for all signal instances.

    Example:

    "signal::sig1"

You can use the personality specific Build String VI to build the selector string.

  • cgenclassrntag.png Instrument Handle In

Instrument Handle In identifies the instrument session. Instrument Handle In is obtained from the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA VI or the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA (Array) VI.

  • ci32.png RF Attenuation Auto

RF Attenuation Auto specifies whether RFmx computes the RF attenuation.

If you set this parameter to True, RFmx automatically chooses an attenuation setting based on the reference level configured on the personality.

    The default value is True.

    False (0)

Specifies that RFmx uses the value configured using RF Attenuation parameter.

    True (1)

Specifies that RFmx computes the RF attenuation automatically.

  • cdbl.png RF Attenuation (dB)

RF Attenuation specifies the nominal attenuation setting for all attenuators before the first mixer in the RF signal chain. This value is expressed in dB.

If you set the RF Attenuation Auto parameter to True, RFmx chooses an attenuation setting automatically.

  • cerrcodeclst.png error in (no error)

error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

  • igenclassrntag.png Instrument Handle Out

Instrument Handle Out passes a reference of the instrument session to the next VI.

  • ierrcodeclst.png error out

error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
