Use this dialog box to read and analyze a data file.

Wire a path to a data file to the file path input of the Data File Viewer VI and run the VI to display this dialog box.

This dialog box includes the following components:

  • File contents—Lists the property and channel data of the data file. Select the value you want to analyze, and the data appears to the right of the File contents list.
  • Properties—Displays property data for the specified data file.
  • Values (table)—Displays the raw data values from the specified data file.
  • Analog values (graph)—Displays a graph of the data.
  • Settings—Displays the File Viewer Settings dialog box.
