The VIs in this subpalette use the XNET UDP Socket for UDP communication. The NI-XNET Socket API for UDP is analogous to LabVIEW's built-in UDP palette for the OS stack.

XNET UDP Socket Open VI
Opens a UDP socket to send a datagram to a single receiver on the port you specify. If you want to send a single datagram to multiple receivers in parallel, use the XNET UDP Multicast Open node.
XNET UDP Socket Write VI
Writes a datagram to a remote UDP port. To send multicast datagrams, specify the multicast group address in the remote address input.
XNET UDP Socket Read VI
Reads a datagram from a UDP socket.
XNET UDP Socket Close VI
Closes a UDP socket and frees system resources.
XNET UDP Socket Multicast Open VI
Opens a UDP multicast socket to send a single datagram to multiple receivers in parallel on the port you specify.
XNET UDP Socket Property Node
Provides properties that can be used with the XNET UDP Socket VIs.
XNET UDP Socket Invoke Node
Methods in this node can be used with the XNET UDP Socket VIs.
