Edit or delete an existing signal, or create a new signal.

Edit an existing signal by modifying its signal properties.

Deleting a Signal

To delete a signal, select the signal in the navigation tree, and then select Edit » Delete.

Creating a Signal

  1. In the navigation tree, right-click a frame, or a PDU if defined, and select Create Signal.
  2. Provide a name for the signal, and configure signal properties.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • For supported database files (i.e., DBC and XML), select File » Save to save your changes to the database.
    • For unsupported database file formats, select File » Save As, and save the modified database in FIBEX XML format.
