LIN Cluster Properties

The following properties are available on the Cluster Properties page for LIN protocol.

  • Name—Cluster name. This must be unique within the database.
  • Protocol—Communication protocol of the cluster (CAN, FlexRay, or LIN).
  • Timebase Tick—Basic time unit of the LIN cluster (ms).
  • Preset Baud Rate—List of selectable, preset baud rate values (kBaud). Select Custom to enter a baud rate manually in the Baud Rate or Custom Baud Rate fields.
  • Baud Rate—If Preset Baud Rate is set to Custom, this property can be used to specify baud rate (in bd).
  • Custom Baud Rate—If Preset Baud Rate is set to Custom, this property can be used to specify baud rate in hexadecimal.
  • Comment—Note or descriptive text related to this Cluster. The comment is used for information only.
