Searching Content in the NI Offline Help Viewer

Use the search bar in the NI Offline Help Viewer to find content that fits your needs.

Before you begin, change your NI Help Preferences to enable the NI Offline Help Viewer.
Tip To narrow search results, you can use quotation marks and specify the product.
  1. Launch the documentation from the Help menu in your NI product.
    Your NI product will automatically launch the installed version of the documentation in NI Offline Help Viewer.
  2. Type your query into the search bar.
  3. Optional: Modify your search using the search bar on the results page if you do not see what you're looking for.
    The Offline Help Viewer does not have filters that you can apply to your search. You must modify what you enter into the search field to return different search results.
  4. Select the topic that meets your needs.
  5. Optional: Click < in the header to return to the search results page.
