The Ultiboard user interface is highly customizable. Toolbars can be docked in various positions and orientations. The contents of the toolbars may be customized. New toolbars can be created. The menu system is fully customizable, including all context menus for the various object types.

The keyboard shortcut system is also customizable. This allows for any keys or key combinations to be assigned to any command that may be placed in a menu or on a toolbar.
