Properties Tab

The Properties tab for file or clipboard locations contains the following options:

• Sequence —Selects the sequence to import values to or export values from.
• Properties —The names of the variables and properties to import or export. This section displays the available variables and properties in the selected sequence, and a list control that contains the variables and properties you select.

  Use the Limits (>) button to add all limit properties to the Selected list control.

  You can add one or more properties to the Selected list control by selecting items from the Properties section and clicking the single right arrow button (>). The double right arrow button (>>) adds all of the properties to the Selected list control. You can also add properties to the Selected List control using the Add button.

  To deselect one or more properties, select them in the Selected list control and click the single left arrow button (<). The double left arrow button (<<) removes all of the properties in the Selected list control.

  • Import All Properties from Data Location —TestStand ignores the selected property list and import all properties from the file or clipboard instead. This option does not apply when importing from databases.
  • Property Name —The currently selected property in the Selected list control. When you select a container or array property, TestStand stores the contents of the property as an XML stream.
