Modified Types Warning Dialog Box
TestStand launches the Modified Types Warning dialog box when all of the following conditions are true:
- You select File»Save .
- The sequence file or type palette contains types marked as modified .
- The Before Saving Modified Types option on the File tab of the Station Options dialog box is set to Prompt to Increment Version Types .
The Modified Types Warning dialog box contains the following options:
- Modified Types —Displays a list of types which are currently marked as modified.

Increment Type Versions
—Instructs TestStand to increment the version of the type.
- Version Number to Increment —Specifies whether to increment the Major, Minor, Revision, or Build Number in the version.

Do Not Increment Type Versions
—When you enable this option, TestStand saves the types without incrementing the version of the types.
- Remove Modified Mark From Types —When you enable this option, the modified mark for types is removed before saving.
- Save these settings and do not prompt again —Instructs TestStand to use the specified settings as the default in the future. You can edit the default settings on the File tab of the Station Options dialog box.
