Select Configure Auto Schedule in the context menu for the step to launch the Configure Auto Schedule Step dialog box from a TestStand User Interface . You can also click Configure Auto Schedule on the General tab of the Step Properties dialog box.

The Configure Auto Schedule Step dialog box contains the following options:

• Timeout Enabled, Timeout Expression, Timeout Causes Run-Time Error —The timeout behavior TestStand uses when no Use Auto Scheduled Resource blocks within the Auto Schedule block can acquire the required resource locks. If a timeout occurs, the Step.Result.TimeoutOccurred property is set to True .
• Display Execution Scheduling Information in Step Description —When you enable this option, TestStand displays information in the Execution window of the TestStand Sequence Editor or a TestStand User Interface about the scheduling of the execution of the various Use Auto Scheduled Resource blocks within the Auto Schedule block.
