Auto Setup Operation

The Auto Setup operation performs an automatic setup on the instrument, which causes the instrument to put itself into a known state. Since the Auto Setup operation is different for each instrument, using it will break interchangeability. Auto Setup is only recommended for cases in which further calls to the instrument are not planned.
