19213: TestStand Workspace File not Found

Message

Cannot locate the specified file in the TestStand workspace.

Why does this warning occur?

The path of the specified file could not be resolved, which can indicate one of the following situations:

  • The file was deleted.
  • TestStand search directories have changed and the file cannot be found.
Note: The workspace option to Insert Code Modules creates a static snapshot of the current code modules in sequence files. This warning can occur when you enable the Insert Code Modules option, rename or delete the code modules the sequence file uses without updating the workspace, and then create a deployment.

How do I resolve this warning?

Complete the following steps to resolve the issue.

  1. Open the specified workspace.
  2. If the message specified a TestStand project, locate the TestStand project.
  3. Once you find the missing file, update the workspace path, and ensure that the file exists on disk and is readable.

If the issue persists, contact National Instruments for support. Save a technical support record to send to National Instruments by selecting Save Technical Support Report from the Save Log button pull-down menu.
