Specifies the step type menu group to which the step type belongs.

This property corresponds to the default group name of the step type in the Groups and Step Types control of the Step Type Menu Editor dialog box. Instead of using this property, use the Step Type Menu Editor dialog box and save the step type in a type palette file. TestStand uses this value for the initial group for a step type if no Step Type menu data for the step type exists in TestExec.ini or in a type palette file. TestStand saves Step Type menu data with type palette files automatically and also saves the current configuration in TestExec.ini. When you redistribute a type palette file, TestStand merges the Step Type menu data with the current Step Type menu data stored in the TestExec.ini file of the station. Sequence files do not store Step Type menu data. However, because TestStand stores data for step types stored in sequence files in the TestExec.ini of the station on which the step types have been loaded, you can configure the location of those step types.
