Visualizing Data on a Tile Dashboard

Create a dashboard comprised of tiles to visualize tag, test, system, or asset data your distributed systems generate.
- In the SystemLink web application, click .

Click New Tile Dashboard.
To browse for an existing dashboard, click the dropdown arrow and select Import.
- Enter a name and a description for the dashboard.

Select the workspace to which you want to add the dashboard.
Note You can change your selection later by clicking
Settings. - Click New Tile and select the tile type you want to use to visualize data.

On the Data tab, select the type of data source you want
to display on the tile.
For example, if you want to display data from a Jupyter notebook on a graph tile, click .
- Specify the data source you want to display on the tile.

If you want to display additional data on the tile, click
+ and repeat steps 6-7 as many times as you
need.
Note Donut and graph tiles are the only tile types to which you can add multiple data sources. The additional data sources must be the same type of data source. Therefore, if you add a tag to a graph tile, you can only add other tags to the tile.

On the Properties tab, configure how you want the tile
to look.
For example, you can disable the Units toggle if you do not want to display the unit property on the tile.Refer to Adding Properties to a Data Source to Display on a Dashboard Tile in this manual to learn more about the properties you can automatically display on a tile.
- Repeat steps 5-9 to add more tiles to the dashboard.

At the top of the editor, click
Panel Size and select
the type of device on which you want to monitor the dashboard.

Disable the Edit toggle to view your dashboard.
Note The dashboard editor automatically saves your dashboard whenever you make a change.
- To make more changes, enable the Edit toggle.

Click the
More
button to export, duplicate, or delete your dashboard.
