Use the SystemLink Test Monitor Client to avoid data loss during network disruptions.

A test system using the SystemLink Test Monitor Client requires a stable network connection to SystemLink. If you have an unstable connection, you can configure the Client avoid data loss.

To maintain optimal memory usage and storage availability regardless of losing offline data, use the default configuration of the plug-in.

  1. Open TestStand on the managed system you want to store offline data during network disruptions.
  2. Select Configure » Result Processing.
  3. For NI SystemLink Test Monitor Client, click Options .
  4. Choose the option that best meets your needs.

    Store all test data on the client regardless of connection status, memory consumption, and storage space. Automatically forward this data in batches whenever the client is connected to SystemLink. Check Enable Storing and Forwarding of Test Data and select Always.
    Store test data on the client only when the client is disconnected from SystemLink; for example, during a network interruption. Automatically forward this data to SystemLink when the client reconnects to it. Check Enable Storing and Forwarding of Test Data and select Only When Disconnected From Server.
  5. Click OK.
