Collects usage data about every asset when a test or measurement task starts.

Note You can only run this VI on a managed system or on the server itself. If you run this VI on an unmanaged system, the data obtained will not transmit to the server. Instead, the data transfer will fail silently.


task name

Name of the test or measurement task you want the asset to perform.

asset name

Name of the device or devices.

If you do not wire this input, the VI collects usage data for all assets.

utilization category

Reason the user is using the asset.

The default is General.

user

Name of the person using the asset.

error in

Error conditions that occur before this VI runs. The VI responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

asset utilization

Asset utilization reference on the server.

error out

Error information. This VI produces this output according to standard error behavior.
