Configures a local reference to a test step on the server.

Wire test step out to Create Test Step to create a reference of it on the server.



workspace id

ID of the workspace in which to add the new step.

result id

Unique identifier of the test result.

status type

Execution state the test is in.

When you leave this input unwired, this VI uses the status associated with test step in. The default is Running.

status name

Name of the test execution state.

The name is used only when status type is set to Custom.

error in

Error conditions that occur before this VI runs. The VI responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

step name

Name you assign to the test step.

test step

Local test step reference on your machine. You must wire this input to Create Test Step to create and add the test step to the SystemLink Test Monitor service.

Error information. This VI produces this output according to standard error behavior.
