Identifies the system and top-level application that generates the tag as a tag path.

If you leave namespace unwired, it defaults to the name of the top-level VI.



tag name

Name you give the tag.

namespace

Name of the resource or application that generates the tag.

path

Path to the tag reference.

A tag path uses dot separators to separate each component of the path. For example, a tag path looks like <system>.<namespace>.<tag>.
