Adding Mutual Exclusions

Complete the following steps to add a mutual exclusion:

1. Launch MAX with Switch Executive.
2. Expand Devices and Interfaces»Switch Executive Virtual Devices.
3. Select the Switch Executive virtual device to modify.
4. Click the Channels/Exclusions tab.
5. Click at the top of the Exclusions listbox to add a mutual exclusion.
6. Type a name for the exclusion in the Name textbox or accept the predefined name.
7. Select the channels to exclude from the Available Channels listbox and click to add each channel to the Mutually Excluded Channels listbox.
8. Type any comments you have in the Comment textbox.
   Note If needed, select the Disabled checkbox to disable the exclusion.
9. Click on the Switch Executive taskbar to save the changes.
