The Radar Target Generation Driver and API support using an external Local Oscillator (LO). Connect the VST instrument to an external LO.

Complete the following steps.
Note The PXIe-5831/5832 IF and mmWave configuration is not supported for external LO connections.
  1. Connect the external LO to the VST instrument, using the ports on listed in the following table.

  2. Connect the reference clock from the external LO module to the ports on the PXI Express Timing and Synchronization Module or PXI Express Chassis Timing and Synchronization upgrade panel, as listed in the following table.
