This property allows you to choose a tradeoff between switching speed and On/Off Ratio when using pulse modulation. Refer to the product specifications document for the switching characteristics of each mode. This property is settable while the device is generating, but some output pulses may be dropped.

Supported Devices: PXIe-5842/5654/5654 with PXIe-5696

Default Value: Analog

Permissions Read/Write
High-level VIs N/A
Channel-based No
Resettable Yes
Optimal Match 20000

Provides for a more optimal power output match for the device during the off cycle of the pulse mode operation. This is not supported on PXIe-5842

High Isolation 20001

Allows for the best on/off power ratio of the pulsed signal.

Analog 20002

Analog switch blanking. Balance between switching speed and on/off power ratio of the pulsed signal.

Digital 20003

Digital only modulation. Provides the best on/off switching speed of the pulsed signal at the cost of signal isolation.
