RFmxWLAN TXP Fetch Measurement VI
- Updated2025-10-13
- 3 minute(s) read
Returns the average power and the peak power of the signal over which power measurements are performed.
Use "segment<n>/chain<k>" as the selector string to read results from this VI.

Inputs/Outputs
Selector String
—
Selector String specifies a selector string comprising of the signal name, result name, segment number, and chain number. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used. If you do not specify the result name, the default result instance is used. The default value is "segment0/chain0". Example: "segment0/chain0" "signal::sig1/segment0/chain0" "signal::sig1/result::r1/segment0/chain0" "result::r1/segment0/chain0" You can use the RFmxWLAN Build Chain String VI to build the selector string.
Instrument Handle In
—
Instrument Handle In specifies the RFmx session refnum. Instrument Handle In is obtained from the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA VI or the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA (Array) VI.
Timeout (s)
—
Timeout specifies the timeout for fetching the specified measurement. Set this value to an appropriate time, longer than expected for fetching the measurement. A value of -1 specifies that the VI waits until the measurement is complete. This value is expressed in seconds. The default value is 10.
error in (no error)
—
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
Instrument Handle Out
—
Instrument Handle Out passes a reference of your RFmx session to the next VI.
Average Power Mean (dBm)
—
Average Power Mean returns the average power of the acquired signal. This value is expressed in dBm. When you set the TXP Averaging Enabled property to True, this parameter returns the mean of the average power computed for each averaging count.
Peak Power Maximum (dBm)
—
Peak Power Maximum returns the peak power of the acquired signal. This value is expressed in dBm. When you set the TXP Averaging Enabled property to True, this parameter returns the maximum of the peak power computed for each averaging count.
error out
—
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality. |
