RFmxWLAN SEM Fetch Upper Offset Power (Array) VI
- Updated2025-10-13
- 3 minute(s) read
Fetches an array of total absolute and relative powers, peak absolute and relative powers, and frequencies corresponding to the peak absolute powers of upper offset segments. The relative powers are relative to peak power of the carrier.
Use "segment<n>/chain<k>" as the selector string to read results from this VI.

Inputs/Outputs
Selector String
—
Selector String specifies a selector string comprising of the signal name, result name, segment number, and chain number. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used. If you do not specify the result name, the default result instance is used. The default value is "segment0/chain0". Example: "segment0/chain0" "signal::sig1/segment0/chain0" "signal::sig1/result::r1/segment0/chain0" "result::r1/segment0/chain0" You can use the RFmxWLAN Build Chain String VI to build the selector string.
Instrument Handle In
—
Instrument Handle In specifies the RFmx session refnum. Instrument Handle In is obtained from the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA VI or the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA (Array) VI.
Timeout (s)
—
Timeout specifies the timeout for fetching the specified measurement. Set this value to an appropriate time, longer than expected for fetching the measurement. A value of -1 specifies that the VI waits until the measurement is complete. This value is expressed in seconds. The default value is 10.
error in (no error)
—
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
Peak Relative Power (dB)
—
Peak Relative Power returns an array of peak powers of the upper offsets, relative to the peak power of the carrier channel. This value is expressed in dBm.
Peak Frequency (Hz)
—
Peak Frequency returns an array of frequencies at which the peak power occurs in the upper offsets. This value is expressed in Hz.
Instrument Handle Out
—
Instrument Handle Out passes a reference of your RFmx session to the next VI.
Total Absolute Power (dBm)
—
Total Absolute Power returns an array of average powers of the upper offsets over the bandwidth determined by the offset start and stop frequencies. This value is expressed in dBm.
Total Relative Power (dB)
—
Total Relative Power returns an array of average powers of the upper offsets relative to the peak power of the carrier channel. This value is expressed in dB.
Peak Absolute Power (dBm)
—
Peak Absolute Power returns an array of peak powers of the upper offsets. This value is expressed in dBm.
error out
—
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality. |
