Fetches the stream RMS EVM per symbol trace for each user. When you set the OFDMModAcc Averaging Enabled property to True, this VI returns the mean of the user stream RMS EVM per symbol computed for each averaging count.

Use "user<n>/stream<k>" as the selector string to read results from this VI.

  • cstr.png Selector String

    Selector String specifies a selector string comprising of the signal name, result name, user number, and stream number. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used. If you do not specify the result name, the default result instance is used. The default value is "user0/stream0".

    Example:

    "signal::sig1/result::r1/user0/stream0"

    You can use the RFmxWLAN Build Stream String VI to build the selector string.

  • cgenclassrntag.png Instrument Handle In

    Instrument Handle In specifies the RFmx session refnum. Instrument Handle In is obtained from the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA VI or the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA (Array) VI.

  • cdbl.png Timeout (s)

    Timeout specifies the timeout for fetching the specified measurement. Set this value to an appropriate time, longer than expected for fetching the measurement. A value of -1 specifies that the VI waits until the measurement is complete. This value is expressed in seconds. The default value is 10.

    error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

    Instrument Handle Out passes a reference of your RFmx session to the next VI.

    User Stream RMS EVM per Symbol Mean (dB or %) returns the stream RMS EVM per symbol trace for each user. When you set the Averaging Enabled property to True, this parameter returns the mean of the user stream RMS EVM per symbol computed for each averaging count.

    x0 returns the starting OFDM symbol index corresponding to the value of OFDMModAcc Meas Offset property.

  • idbl.png dx

    dx returns the OFDM symbol increment value. This value is always equal to 1.

    y returns the stream RMS EVM of each OFDM symbol for each user. This value is expressed as a percentage or in dB.

    error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
