Fetches the stream EVM per subcarrier trace for a symbol.

Use "segment<n>/stream<k>" as the selector string to read results from this VI.

Inputs/Outputs

  • cstr.png Selector String —

    Selector String specifies a selector string comprising of the signal name, result name, segment number, and stream number. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used. If you do not specify the result name, the default result instance is used. The default value is "segment0/stream0".

    Example:

    "segment0/stream0"

    "signal::sig1/segment0/stream0"

    "signal::sig1/result::r1/segment0/stream0"

    "result::r1/segment0/stream0"

    You can use the RFmxWLAN Build Stream String VI to build the selector string.

  • cgenclassrntag.png Instrument Handle In —

    Instrument Handle In specifies the RFmx session refnum. Instrument Handle In is obtained from the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA VI or the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA (Array) VI.

  • cdbl.png Timeout (s) —

    Timeout specifies the timeout for fetching the specified measurement. Set this value to an appropriate time, longer than expected for fetching the measurement. A value of -1 specifies that the VI waits until the measurement is complete. This value is expressed in seconds. The default value is 10.

  • ci32.png Symbol Index —

    Symbol Index specifies the symbol index for which to fetch the trace. The default value is 0.

    error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

  • igenclassrntag.png Instrument Handle Out —

    Instrument Handle Out passes a reference of your RFmx session to the next VI.

  • icclst.png Symbol Stream EVM per Subcarrier (dB or %) —

    Symbol Stream EVM per Subcarrier returns the stream EVM per subcarrier trace for a symbol. For symbol indices outside the measurement interval, the trace value is NaN.

  • idbl.png x0 —

    x0 returns the starting subcarrier index.

  • idbl.png dx —

    dx returns the subcarrier increment value. This value is always 1.

  • i1dsgl.png y —

    y returns the stream EVM for each subcarrier for the specified symbol index. This value is expressed as a percentage or in dB.

  • ierrcodeclst.png error out —

    error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
