RFmxWLAN OFDMModAcc Fetch Preamble Peak Powers (802.11n) VI
- Updated2025-10-13
- 3 minute(s) read
Fetches the peak power of the 802.11n specific preamble fields.
Use "segment<n>/chain<k>" as the selector string to read results from this VI.

Inputs/Outputs
Selector String
—
Selector String specifies a selector string comprising of the signal name, result name, segment number, and chain number. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used. If you do not specify the result name, the default result instance is used. The default value is "segment0/chain0". Example: "segment0/chain0" "signal::sig1/segment0/chain0" "signal::sig1/result::r1/segment0/chain0" "result::r1/segment0/chain0" You can use the RFmxWLAN Build Chain String VI to build the selector string.
Instrument Handle In
—
Instrument Handle In specifies the RFmx session refnum. Instrument Handle In is obtained from the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA VI or the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA (Array) VI.
Timeout (s)
—
Timeout specifies the timeout for fetching the specified measurement. Set this value to an appropriate time, longer than expected for fetching the measurement. A value of -1 specifies that the VI waits until the measurement is complete. This value is expressed in seconds. The default value is 10.
error in (no error)
—
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
HT-ELTF Peak Power Maximum (dBm)
—
HT-ELTF Peak Power Maximum returns the peak power of the HT-ELTF field. When you set the OFDMModAcc Averaging Enabled property to True, this parameter returns the maximum of the HT-ELTF peak power results computed for each averaging count. This value is expressed in dBm.
Instrument Handle Out
—
Instrument Handle Out passes a reference of your RFmx session to the next VI.
HT-SIG Peak Power Maximum (dBm)
—
HT-SIG Peak Power Maximum returns the peak power of the HT-SIG field. When you set the OFDMModAcc Averaging Enabled property to True, this parameter returns the maximum of the HT-SIG field peak power results computed for each averaging count. This value is expressed in dBm.
HT-STF Peak Power Maximum (dBm)
—
HT-STF Peak Power Maximum returns the peak power of the HT-STF field. When you set the OFDMModAcc Averaging Enabled property to True, this parameter returns the maximum of the HT-STF peak power results computed for each averaging count. This value is expressed in dBm.
HT-DLTF Peak Power Maximum (dBm)
—
HT-DLTF Peak Power Maximum returns the peak power of the HT-DLTF field. When you set the OFDMModAcc Averaging Enabled property to True, this parameter returns the maximum of the HT-DLTF peak power results computed for each averaging count. This value is expressed in dBm.

—
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality. |
