Configure your hardware settings.

  1. Click the Hardware tab of the Configuration Pane to open the hardware configuration page, where you can configure the generation and acquisition settings for your DUT.
  2. Click the Generation tab to open the generation settings page. Configure the following settings for the signal generator of your VST.
    1. Select the device identifier you configured in the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) using the Signal Generator Device drop-down menu.
    2. Configure the reference clock using the Frequency Reference Source drop-down menu.
    3. If you are using a PXIe-583x VST (where the IF ports are bidirectional), configure the Generation Port input field.
    4. Configure the frequency and power settings of the VST using the Center Frequency (Hz) and Power Level (dB) input fields.
  3. Click the Acquisition tab and configure the same settings for the signal analyzer of your VST.
