Replacing a Power Entry Panel
Caution Use Power Entry Panels only with ATE Core Configurations purchased
from NI as spare or replacement units.
To replace your Power Entry Panel, complete the following steps:
- Completely power off the system. Disconnect the power, ground, EPO, Ethernet, and USB
cables. Fully remove the USB cables from the rack, as they are included in the
replacement kit.Caution To completely interrupt power to the system, you must disconnect the AC power cable. Do not position equipment so that it is difficult to disconnect the cable. Access is prohibited to operators and is limited to trained service personnel only.
- Remove the four mounting screws and remove the Power Entry Panel from the rack.
- Attach the Power Entry Panel to the back of the rack in slots 5 to 7 using the four #10-32 pan head screws. Fastener torque is 17 lb · in.
- Connect the power, ground, and EPO cables. Fastener torque is 11.5 lb · in for
the grounding connection. Route the USB cables included with the replacement kit
as needed. Connect and route the Ethernet cable as needed.
