Viewing the Graphics Display

You can stop the continuous graphic display to examine the graph in more detail without stopping the variables in the test.
You can pause and restart the graphics chart using the following methods:
- Manually from the Context menu using the pause and play buttons
- Automatically from the test using a control variable
Note Data is not lost when the chart pauses. The data is buffered so that a continuous stream
of data is provided after the pause. The buffer depth is the maximum history depth. If the
memory not sufficient, the oldest 10% of the data points are discarded.
Tip When you export chart data, the chart is automatically stopped and you have to
start it again manually.
Pausing the Display Using a Control Variable
Complete the following steps to automatically pause and continue the graphics display chart.
- Define a numerical variable in the test.
- Open PAcontroller for the graphics to be controlled (online or offline).
- In the Chart settings tab, enter the norm name of this variable in the Freeze-control variable field.
- Set the values of this variable in the test as follows:
