To rename a state machine, you must assign the Graphical programming group a new name. The name must already exist and have the type PAscript.

Rename the state machine using one of the following methods:
  • In the Explorer, open the Context menu of the root node and select Rename state machine.
  • Click State machine » Rename state machine.

The selection for names opens, where you can select a new name. This selection does not contain user-defined filter criteria, because only PAscript names are allowed.

Note The selection list also contains system names.
