To parameterize a variable data series, you must fill out all the displayed fields. The fields for parameterizing the representation are already filled out with standard values. You need to define only the variables for the x - and y-values.
| Field | Entry | Description |
|---|---|---|
| X-Variable | Selection list variables | Variable to be displayed on the x-axis |
| Y-Variable | Selection list variables | Variable to be displayed on the Y-axis |
| Display type | Selection list type | Setting the display as points, line or points and line |
| Line width | Floating-point number | When selecting display type Line or Points and Line: line width in pixel |
| Point size | Floating-point number | When selecting display type Points or Points and Line: point size in pixel |
| Point limit | Integer or test variable | Maximum number of simultaneously displayed data points |
| Color | Color selection | Color for drawing points or lines |
Note When selecting variables,
ensure that both variables for the x- and y-axis are recorded with the same frequency. If this
is not the case, the data series cannot be displayed.
