Creating Objects

Note You must have write access to the target folder in which you
want to create a new object.
Complete the following steps to add a new object to a folder.
- Launch the Development area in PAconfigurator.

On the Explorer tab, select the folder in which you want
to add a new object, then complete one of the following actions:
- Right-click on the object type and select
.
- Right-click anywhere inside the Explorer area to the right of the object
hierarchy tree and select
.
- Click the
button on the Explorer tab toolbar.
The New Object in:<Folder Name> dialog appears with a list of available objects for the specific folder.PAconfigurator specifies the object types that you can create in specific folders:
- Database folder—Create test folders and group folders.
- Test folder—Create tests or other test folders.
- Test—Create group folders, groups, or links.
- Group folder—Create group folders, groups, or links.
- Right-click on the object type and select

Select the object type that you want to add.
The new object appears in the list of objects.
- Double-click the object to configure the properties.
