Before you create a test, you must create the individual components that comprise the test in PAconfigurator, including:
  • Test station
  • DUT type
  • Application type
  • Test procedure
An attribute regulates the compatibility of the individual test components. Therefore, the selection lists display only compatible components during the test creation.

Complete the following steps to create and assemble a test in PAconfigurator:

  1. On the Tests tab, click New Test.
Tip You can either create a new test from the Tests tab or duplicate a test from the Context menu (recommended).
  2. In the New Test dialog box, complete the following:
    1. Enter a Name for the test.
    2. Optional: Enter a Description.
  3. Click Create.
The test wizard appears in a new tab. The name of the tab matches the name that you used for the test.
