The pause icon changes depending on the pause status.

• Yellow—The pause icon turns yellow when you click the pause icon. A pause request is triggered.
• Green—The pause icon turns green when pause actions are complete. Test execution halts.

The status bar at the bottom of PAcontroller also changes depending on the pause status.

• The status bar displays Pause requested when the test procedure has not yet reached the row with the pause point.
• The status bar displays Pausing when the test procedure reaches the row with a pause point. The test procedure is executing the pause actions.
• The status bar displays Paused when the test procedure completes the pause actions.

To resume the paused test procedure, click the pause icon again. To cancel a pause request before a pause executes, click the pause icon again. If canceling a pause request is not possible because pause actions are in progress, a warning message appears.
