Configuring a PXI Controller

Use the NI Hardware Configuration Utility or a combination of NI MAX and PAtools PCU Configuration to set up a PXI controller for testing.

Refer to Configuring the PXI for PAtools in the PAtools User
Manual to complete the following steps:
- Install software on the PXI controller.
- Configure the SystemLink client.

Configure the PXI controller using PAtools PCU
Configuration.
Note Add additional runtime systems for each battery pack or module that must be simultaneously tested on this PXI controller. Add additional runtime systems for each climate chamber in a battery cell test that must be simultaneously tested on this PXI controller.
- Set up the PXI as a test station in PAtools using PAconfigurator.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\PAtools <version>\Battery Application.

Unzip and copy the contents of pictures.zip to the PXI controller
inside the folder home/patools/pictures.
Create this folder if it does not exist.

To set up this PXI controller to execute test plans from SystemLink, follow the
instructions in the PAtools PXI Configuration GitHub repository.
If you do not have access to the GitHub repository, work with your account representative for access credentials. Attempting to access the repository without proper credentials results in a 404 error.
