Uploading Products and Product Files to SystemLink

To execute tests from SystemLink, upload the PAtools DUT type to SystemLink as a SystemLink product family. In addition, upload applicable files to the SystemLink product.

The following workflow describes the process for uploading products and product files to SystemLink.

  1. In PAconfigurator, set up a DUT type in PAtools.
  2. Upload the DUT type to SystemLink as a product family.
  3. In SystemLink, create a product.

    The name of the product family must match the name of the DUT type that you uploaded.

  4. Upload applicable files to the SystemLink product.

Uploading PAtools DUTs Types to SystemLink

Refer to Creating DUT Types and DUTs in the PAtools User Manual to learn how to add a DUT type, identify user-configurable input parameters, and upload the DUT type to SystemLink.

Note A PAtools DUT is equivalent to a SystemLink product.
Note A PAtools DUT type is equivalent to a SystemLink product family.

In the SystemLink web client, click Product Insights » Products to find PAtools DUTs that you uploaded to SystemLink.

Uploading Product Files to SystemLink

Upload files to SystemLink that are necessary to execute a test plan for a product.

To add files to a product in the SystemLink web client, click Files » Upload files.
  • Upload a specification file to SystemLink. You can use a SystemLink routine to parse the specification file so that you can view the values from the file in the SystemLink product pages.
  • Upload a vehicle communication database file if you are testing a battery pack. Battery cells or battery modules might not have a vehicle communication database file.
