Gets the value of the specified device property for one or more resources. This is flexible for devices, NVMEM, physical channels, and so on, but requires that you know the exact string of the resource. You can use an array instance of this VI to get a scalar property from multiple devices with a single call to the VI.

In addition to resource aliases like $DefaultDevices, this VI supports:

  • $Session: can be used to get/set session properties such as Session.DefaultDevices.
  • $System: can be used to get system properties such as Sys.Devices.
