Adds the specified network chassis to the local configuration file. This VI connects to the specified network chassis, downloads information about the chassis and its modules, and adds the chassis and modules to the local configuration file. If the chassis has already been added, calling this function again refreshes the modules.

    password specifies the password for accessing the device.

  • cdbl.png connect timeout (60 sec) —

    connect timeout (60 sec) specifies the maximum amount of time, in seconds, to wait when connecting to the specified resource. This VI returns an error if timeout expires. Set connect timeout to -1 to use the value of the Session.TCPIP.ConnectTimeout property.

  • igenclassrntag.png session out —

    session out is a copy of the session in reference.

  • igenclassrntag.png chassis out —

    chassis out indicates the name of the chassis added to the system and configuration file.

  • ierrcodeclst.png error out —

    error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
