Factory Calibration

Factory calibration is performed yearly on a day specified by the product calibration certificate. Factory calibration is performed at a certified calibration laboratory to ensure the device is operating within manufacturer specifications. The laboratory also traces the instrument performance back to a standards body, such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). To achieve higher accuracy, you can perform a user calibration more frequently.
