Specifies the type of start trigger, which controls how the device generates or acquires signals. Use this property to choose whether to generate or acquire data immediately or to synchronize generations and acquisitions to the timestamp specified by the Start Trigger Time properties.

Default Value: None

None (0)

For Rx, acquires data immediately (as soon as the acquisition starts). For Tx, generates data as soon as it writes to the device.

Time (1)

Acquires or generates data synchronous to a timestamp. The Start Trigger occurs when the onboard device timer reaches the timestamp specified by the Start Trigger Time properties.
