niSync Enable GPS or IRIG Timestamping (VI)
Installed With: NI-SyncTimestamps an incoming GPS or IRIG signal with the current board time of the specified module. If you are using the IRIG instance of this VI, you cannot use the terminal with the external IRIG generator for other operations until you disable timestamping with niSync Disable GPS or IRIG Timestamping or close the session with niSync Close.

niSync Enable GPS or IRIG Timestamping (IRIG)
Use this instance to test the stability of an external IRIG source relative to another external time reference. Refer to Testing the Stability of an External IRIG Source to build a basic application using this VI instance.

niSync Enable GPS or IRIG Timestamping (GPS)
Use this instance to enable timestamping of the GPS pulse per second signal. You must select GPS as the time reference for the module specified in instrument handle for this instance to function.
