Setting an External Time Reference

Sets an external time reference for a time-based synchronization module.

  1. Place Initialize on the diagram.
  2. Wire a control or constant to resource name and select a time-based timing and synchronization module.
  3. Place Set Time Reference on the diagram.
  4. Select a mode of Set Time Reference. You can set the external time reference to GPS, 1588 Ordinary Clock, IRIG, or PPS. You can also put the device in Free Running mode.
