Inherent IVI Attributes:Advanced Session Information:Logical Name

Contains the logical name you specified when opening the current IVI session.

You can wire a logical name to the niSwitch Initialize or the niSwitch Initialize With Options VIs. The IVI Configuration Utility must contain an entry for the logical name. The logical name entry refers to a virtual instrument section, which specifies a physical device and initial user options, in the IVI Configuration file.
