Initializes an EEPROM-specific external alignment step.
Inputs/Outputs

error in
Error conditions that occur before this node runs.
The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.
Default value: No error

ext align step
External alignment step that you want to initialize.
| Preselector Alignment | Initiates preselector alignment.
This step generates coefficients to align the preselector across the frequency range of 3.6 GHz to 14 GHz for the PXIe-5605 and the frequency range of 3.6 GHz to 26.5 GHz for the PXIe-5606. |

session out
Reference to your instrument session passed to the next node.

error out
Error information.
The node produces this output according to standard error behavior.
Hardware Support
This node supports the following hardware:
- PXIe-5605 (PXIe-5665 only)
- PXIe-5606 (PXIe-5668 only)
Programming Patterns
You must call Close External Alignment Step after you call this node to complete the external alignment.
