Create a shortcut in a specific directory for a file that is included in a package. For example, you can create a shortcut in the Program Menu directory for an application file in a different directory.

  1. From the Inputs pane, drag the application file to the Editor pane and drop the file in a target directory for the package.
  2. Right-click on the target file in the package and select Create Shortcut.
    The shortcut <Application Name>.exe - Shortcut.lnk is added to the package.
  3. In the Editor pane, right-click the target root directory and select Insert Directory.
  4. Rename the directory My Company.
  5. Drag the shortcut to the My Company directory.
  6. In the Properties pane, rename the shortcut Launch My App.lnk.
  7. Build your package by selecting Build » Build All Packages.
