Static Acquisition

Static acquisition samples the configured channels once, capturing their current state. Static acquisition, like static generation, is controlled by software and does not use hardware timing.
Each data point requires a separate function call. Therefore, static acquisition is typically used for:
- Single-point measurements
- Low-speed applications
Static acquisition is useful for:
- System and cable debugging
- DC-level semiconductor testing
- Other diagnostic or low-speed applications
Static acquisition is also called immediate, unstrobed, or nonlatched acquisition.
