Starts communication for the specified CAN interface. This VI is optional when the Auto Start? property is TRUE.

After using this VI, the interface starts to receive CAN frames from the bus and stores them in the receive queue.

Details  

	interface object in specifies the refnum of the interface to start.
	error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
	interface object out returns the refnum of interface object in.
	error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

CAN Start Details

You cannot set some interface properties in communication mode. Stop communication using the CAN Stop VI before setting the interface properties.
