Configure the CAN module before creating an FPGA VI.
Before you can configure the CAN module, add the module to your CompactRIO configuration. Refer to Add Targets and Devices dialog box for information about how to add the CAN module to your CompactRIO configuration.
- To add the CAN module to the Project Explorer window, select the CAN module from the list of modules in the New C Series Module dialog box.
- To open the Module Configuration dialog box, right-click the NI 9852 or NI 9853 module in the Project Explorer window and select Properties from the shortcut menu.
