Running Interactive Simulation

Interactive simulation performs a time-domain simulation (transient analysis). Some instruments invoke other analyses before the transient simulation commences. For instance, the Bode Plotter invokes an AC Sweep.
To simulate a circuit, click the Run button or select Simulate»Run.
When simulating a design that contains hierarchical blocks, subcircuits and/or multi-pages, the entire design is simulated, not just the active sheet. To simulate a hierarchical block in isolation, you must open that block as a new design by selecting File»Open. Subcircuits cannot be simulated independently.
To pause the simulation while it is running, click the Pause button or select Simulate»Pause. To resume the simulation from the same point as when you paused, select the Run button or Simulate»Run.
To stop a simulation, click the Stop button or select Simulate»Stop. If you restart the simulation after stopping it, it will restart from the beginning (unlike Pause, which allows you to restart from the point where you paused).
