Monitoring and Configuring a Remote Device from a Web Browser

You can now use NI Web-Based Configuration & Monitoring to monitor and configure remote devices. You must use the LabVIEW Real-Time Software Wizard in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) to determine whether NI Web-Based Configuration & Monitoring is installed on an RT target and to install the software if necessary.

Accessing the Configuration Page

Use one of the following methods to access NI Web-Based Configuration & Monitoring for a remote device.

• In the Project Explorer window in LabVIEW, right-click the device and select Utilities»View in Browser from the shortcut menu.
• In a Web browser, enter the URL http://[remote device IP address] where [remote device IP address] is the actual IP address of the remote device.
